Staging Your Albuquerque Home for Sale

Realtors and sellers alike agree that taking the time to prepare a home in Albuquerque or elsewhere goes a long way towards getting it sold faster. "Staging" your home, or decorating it properly inside and out, is an art form, and there are companies that do this professionally.
The process, called "staging," is all about helping buyers envision their furniture, their belongings, and their family in the potential new home. A vacant house can be very stark and uninviting, so adding a bit of furniture and accessories can make the home look much more cozy. It is not necessary and is, in fact, counter productive to bring in truckloads of furniture. The purpose is to show off the space and make the home look as large as possible. Staging shows off the best features of the home, while playing down any negatives. Homeowners are so personally involved in their homes that they usually don't see the problem areas. Sometimes it is just a matter of de-cluttering, a bit of re-positioning of furniture to improve the look or flow and re-organizing accessories. It is amazing how a home can be improved with just a bit of work from a professional stager.
