Albuquerque is the largest city in New Mexico, the county seat of Bernalillo County and is situated in the central part of the state, astraddle the Rio Grande. In 2007, we were named the 6th fastest growing city in America. Along with our "little sister" city, Rio Rancho, ABQ supports about half the population of the state of New Mexico. Forbes rated us in the top 100 cities where incomes for educated workers are growing the fastest in 2009, showing an 8% increase in the median pay since 2005, and a low unemployment rate of 7.8%.

The Sandia Mountains run along the eastern side of the city, providing one of our most popular neighborhoods, Sandia Heights. The Rio Grande flows through the city, north to south. Each neighborhood is very different, and we have homes to fit every budget and preference. Our favorites include Tanoan Country Club and Glenwood Hills.
